Fork me on GitHub

Let's say you have a blog and you want to add a Java (or C#, or JavaScript, or any other langugage) sample. Something that looks like this:

1
2
3
4
5
public class MainApplication {
  public static void main(String[] args) {
    System.out.println("hello world!");
  }
}

How do you do that?

Well if you use Wordpress or Joomla, you generally switch the visual editor off, then edit some really weird syntax in the HTML source of your article:

1
2
3
4
5
<pre xml:lang="java">public class MainApplication {
  public static void main(String[] args) {
    System.out.println("hello world!");
  }
}</pre>

Not fun, isn't it? Well what if there would be a new button into your visual editor, and with one single click be able to add the code. All from the comfort of your visual editor.

Well now it's simple. Click this button from your visual editor toolbar:

Then the code editor dialog opens:

Select the programming language from the combo, click update and you're finished. No more mindless filding with the HTML source of the article.

Download it now!
